GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations)
GDPR is a new data protection regulation that’s designed to build upon the current Data Protection Act, update the regulations to be fit for the modern digital age, strengthen and unify the safety and security of all data held within an organisation.
From 25.05.18 we have put the following in place for the new General Data Protection Regulations:
Our Data Protection Officer (DPO) is: Astrid Broderstad: email@example.com
Our school processes personal data relating to parents, pupils, staff, governors, visitors and others, and therefore is a data controller.
Our Data Controller: The Governors of Covingham Park Primary firstname.lastname@example.org or through the school office.
The headteacher acts as the representative of the data controller on a day-to-day basis.
Please contact the school office if you would like to check your information that we hold about your child is current and up to date. Please also let us know if there is a change to your information (e.g. telephone number).
Where we have asked for your consent about data (eg photographs) you may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing the school office on: email@example.com
