We aim to help children know and understand how to keep themselves safe and where to get help if they don't feel safe. Safeguarding is taught through other areas of the curriculum including PSHE and RSE, as well as through assemblies and visitors. We regularly have the NSPCC and our local PCSOs into school to talk to children about being safe and where to go for help.
E-Safety learning at Covingham Park encourages all children to embrace the wonders of modern technology and to use the internet sensibly, safely and respectfully.
We teach children how to manage the risks associated with on-line communication, how to ask for help and what to do if they are concerned about anything on line.
