Helping Your Child With Handwriting
At Covingham Park, we believe that a flexible, fluent and legible handwriting style empowers children to write with confidence and creativity.
Handwriting is taught regularly as a discrete lesson, with a clear focus, and is reinforced throughout the curriculum.
All KS1 and KS2 children are taught handwriting using an interactive method, using the NELSON handwriting scheme to complement whole class sessions.
